Special Classes
Kid Mo is a class where kids, 3rd - 6th graders, discover, learn, and explore the basics of Christianity. Through creative, age-appropriate, interactive teaching, kids will:
- discover what it means to be a Christian
- understand the importance of a relationship with God
- learn how to become a Christian
- realize the opportunity to make that decision
- establish how to build spiritual muscle
- recognize the importance of developing their relationship with Christ
- What is baptism and why is it important?
- What is communion?
- How to impact your world with Christ
Each child will participate in an interactive time with their parent to make sure they understand the material and any decisions they made as well as to answer questions. Because these basics are so important for kids to understand, Kid Mo is required for children before they are baptized at Discovery.

These classes are held 2 to 3 times a year at the 11:00a Sunday service. To be eligible for baptism, children must attend the class series, and have an interview that shows a clear understanding of their salvation and why they want to be baptized.
Pre-registration for Kid Mo is necessary due to limited class size.
